A Spectacular Vista Of Homes

Socialising is central to the purpose of an airbnb, and a layout of interconnected spaces was conceived as a contemporary take gathering. A large open-planned courtyard flanked by a generous swimming pool and surrounded by 2 and 1 bedroom units forms the heart of the Kanamai in Kilifi. The idea was to have the rooms, which would surround the central restaurant and pool where all the main communal functions will be held. This also meant that we could then orientate every bedroom to have its own view. The approach to the house has been carefully choreographed, drawing visitors up through this terrain to an entrance cooled by a water feature before revealing the spectacular vista.
